Weight
Alright, so it had to come out. I've gained a little weight in the past year as Mart was so kind to point out after Christmas. Honestly bud, I appreciate the eh... reminder. :p But anyway.
This year like everyone else on the planet I will drop a size or two. Although, I know myself pretty well and let's be honest: I'm a summa cum laude graduate of Procrastination U so that's not likely to happen in this lifetime. So I've decided to implement some less than drastic changes to my LIFESTYLE instead of nearly killing myself at the whole jogging thing... Jogging's overrated anyway.
So here for your pleasure is my list of things to improve my life this year.
First - NO Sweets. Yes that is like committing suicide in the junk food world but it has to be done. Although I cannot be responsible for any binging that happens around that time of the month.
Second - Regular intake of vitamins. Being a demi-vegetarian I certainly do not intake enough of the essential nutrients that I should. I also do not have the time, patience, or money to buy the best foods in large amounts. Screw that. If it's in a pill I'll take it.
Third - Protein shakes. Everyday. Twice a day. I definately have a protein deficiency. Fatigue, slow wound healling, mood swings/ moodiness, joint and muscle pain. Yeah. I have ALL the symptoms. Not too mention that protein helps in bloatiness and puffiness... Guess who's going to be my best friend at the end of the month? Yay! Orange Sherbert Whey Protein and Orange juice!
Fourth - Weights. Somewhat regularly. At home; away from prying eyes. Phil's supposed to help me with that. He seems to be doing great at keeping a great routine himself.
Speaking of routine, that brings me to point number 5. Routine, routine, routine!! Stick to it and you'll do great! I read somewhere that it takes 21 days to make something a habit. I'll test that out and let you know.

So with the new year already coming into it's second month, I leave you with the hope that I'll give you my weekly/ bi-weekly progress update.
Wish me luck.. I'll certainly need it at one point.

Hey - gorgeous site, and a great set of goals. Thanks for stopping by mine, and to answer your question, no edamame are not bitter at all... I would almost say they're sweet. Trust me they are delicious!
