I made it! I'm so happy and excited :D I made it through the day without a) binging, b) eating crap and c) without a complaint! The day started off with half a protein shake that I had with toast (I was so nauseated after that I couldn't finish the shake; note to self: don't eat with a shake) After that we spent some time playing video games (I mean what else is there to do in the middle of our vacation?) and then we headed off to WalMart. We stopped over at the new Boston Pizza that was just build near our house and had some lunch. I ordered this Three Cheese Penne that was pretty delicious but I restrained myself from eating it all cause then I would have been over-eating. During lunch I seriously considered this awsome looking chocolate cake that was on the menu but declined dessert (this people, is a great step forward for me!) We then proceeded to WalMart for some shopping.
The following is actually a really funny story. Phil in all his lovable brightness wanted to purchase some weights. Alright, no problem there. Except that we bought 8, 15 AND 20 lbs free weights. So the funny thing is we had to cart the damn things on our backs! That was not fun in any way and was actually a little bit of a painful hobble/walk to the bus stop. But we made it home safe and sound, had shake after that strenuous workout and then proceeded to do my weights! Ahhh.... what a good day today is.
Oh yeah... we never made it to the health food store... :(

So how about this for a smack in the face? I had my yearly physical and my official weight is now 161 pounds. That's quite a shocker. I gained 23 pounds from last years appointment. I was completely destroyed by that little bit of news.
I guess to make up for it we did a lot of walking today including carrying groceries home in super bad sidewalk conditions; worked up quite a sweat. I also had my protein shake. I've finally made a combination of juice, water and protein that doesn't make me gag: 2 cups of water, 1 cup of juice and 1 scoop of protein. It wasn't that bad, at least it doesn't tast like liquide chalk. Anyway, I didn't make it all the way throught the day withough binging on something uber bad for me: 2 servings of chinese food. Ewwww.... it's so much grosser when you tell it to the world.
In other news, we're going to go down to that heath food store tomorrow. It's been getting plenty of raves for years but I've never been.
Alright, so it had to come out. I've gained a little weight in the past year as Mart was so kind to point out after Christmas. Honestly bud, I appreciate the eh... reminder. :p But anyway.
This year like everyone else on the planet I will drop a size or two. Although, I know myself pretty well and let's be honest: I'm a summa cum laude graduate of Procrastination U so that's not likely to happen in this lifetime. So I've decided to implement some less than drastic changes to my LIFESTYLE instead of nearly killing myself at the whole jogging thing... Jogging's overrated anyway.
I've just added a few outdated tutorials (outdated cause everyone other bloddy website has them too but I'm too damn proud to just toss them in the bin) as well as a funny email that was sent to me ages ago.
Well well that wasn't such a bad hiatus now was it? I've decided to put the ENTIRE site in MovableType to make everything easier to control, maintain and change layouts (it would take HUNDREDS of HOURS to do that the other way). Anyway. I'm still fixing bugs and links so don't mind the broken links and layout muck ups; I'm slowly getting to them. Feel free to let me know if you find any.
